The Pastor's Table

Everyone has access to you. Who has access to the real you?

A live online community built to give pastors something ministry rarely gives back: a trusted place to receive, gain perspective, build meaningful relationships, and strengthen the life behind the calling.

The Problem Is Not That You Don't Care

You are very good at making room for everyone except yourself.

Pastors rarely run empty all at once. It happens one sermon, one crisis, one counseling appointment, one staff issue, and one more "yes" at a time.

Most pastors do not decide to create margin because something is wrong. They wait until something is wrong.

Your church gets your leadership.Your team gets your attention. Your people get your care.
Your family gets whatever is left. And if you are not careful, so do your own soul, health, friendships, and future.
You keep pouring.Often without noticing how little margin remains for the man doing the pouring.

You should not have to reach empty before you decide to refill.

The Pastor's Table is preventative by design: a consistent rhythm of community, perspective, prayer, and practical wisdom that helps strengthen the pastor before the pastor reaches the bottom of the barrel.

The Obvious Objection

"I don't need another thing on my calendar."

Neither do we.

The Pastor's Table is not another ministry responsibility, another curriculum to finish, or another room where people need something from you.

It is one of the few things on your calendar intentionally designed to pour something back into you.

Three focused live online gatherings each month create protected space for community, perspective, encouragement, and growth—without asking you to run another program.

A Simple Monthly Rhythm

People. Perspective. Presence.

Every month is built around three experiences that strengthen the man behind the ministry.

1

Pull Up a Chair

Two confidential Pastor's Table gatherings for honest conversation, prayer, encouragement, shared burdens, and useful perspective from men who understand pastoral life.

2

Open the Resource Room

One live monthly conversation with a carefully selected expert bringing practical wisdom for finances, family, health, leadership, rest, investing, soul care, ministry, and the future.

3

Stay Connected

A brotherhood that continues beyond the Zoom room through prayer, encouragement, relationships, and men who know enough about your life to notice when something changes.

All regular gatherings are live and online via Zoom. Table gatherings are designed for approximately 75 minutes and the monthly Resource Room for approximately 60 minutes—about 3½ hours of live connection each month. Your recurring Table schedule is made clear before you accept and pay for a seat.

Honest Does Not Mean Aimless

This is not a Zoom room for pastors to rehearse how hard ministry is.

There is room to say, "This is hard." There is also an expectation that the Table helps you gain perspective and move forward.

CelebrateNotice what God is doing and what is going well.
CarryPut the real burden on the table without performing.
SharpenReceive perspective, questions, wisdom, and next-step clarity.
PrayBring the people, pressure, decisions, and future before God together.

Bring the burden. We just do not intend to leave you underneath it. The Table is facilitated to create honest conversation with forward movement—not complaint for complaint's sake.

"I Already Have Pastor Friends."

Good. Keep them.

The Pastor's Table is not designed to replace healthy friendships, mentors, denominational relationships, or the pastors you already meet with.

It is designed to add something many local relationships cannot: men who understand ministry without being tangled in your immediate ministry context.

Perspective without proximity.

Sometimes the safest person to talk to is a pastor who understands the weight but does not know your elder, share your local politics, compete for the same people, or carry assumptions about everyone involved.

That distance can create unusual honesty—and fresh perspective.

Not replacement. Expansion.
The Resource Room

Pastors need more than church-growth advice.

The Resource Room brings uncommon voices into the conversation—people who can help you build a healthier life, not simply a larger ministry.

Outside the Ministry Echo Chamber

Useful people you may never think to look for.

The goal is not celebrity access. It is carefully curated access to people, ideas, and opportunities that strengthen your life as a man, husband, father, steward, leader, and pastor.

Some months will address ministry. Others will intentionally go where most pastor networks do not.

Conversations may include

  • Additional income and business
  • Real estate and investing
  • Marriage and family health
  • Soul care and emotional resilience
  • Physical health and longevity
  • Rest, travel, and meaningful time away
  • Retirement and future planning
  • Leadership and ministry strategy
Trust Is Designed, Not Assumed

We do not call it confidential and hope for the best.

Trust takes time, but the structure of The Pastor's Table is intentionally built to make real trust possible.

Application

Membership is not automatic. Every application is personally reviewed for fit and commitment.

Small Tables

Tables are intentionally kept to approximately 14–16 men so everyone has room to participate, be known, and build real relationship.

Consistent Faces

Trust grows when you repeatedly sit with the same men instead of entering a different crowd every time.

Table Covenant

Members agree to protect confidentiality, honor one another, participate, and guard what is shared.

Facilitation

The culture is actively protected so conversation remains healthy, purposeful, and useful.

Who's Setting the Table?

Led by someone who knows the weight from the inside.

Kevin Elworth has spent more than 20 years in ministry and leadership development, including 14 years in pastoral ministry. Today he works directly with pastors and church leadership teams through coaching, Fully Engaged Church, the Healthy Church Blueprint, and Pastors Thriving.

The Pastor's Table was not created because pastors need another expert telling them how to run their churches. It was created because pastors need someone intentionally protecting a place where they can be strengthened too.

Before We Talk About Price

Know what a seat actually gives you.

This is not access to another content library. It is access to people, perspective, and a consistent rhythm built around your health and future.

Three live experiences every month

Two confidential Table gatherings plus one live Resource Room conversation.

A consistent circle of pastors

Men who learn your story over time instead of requiring you to start over every conversation.

Outside perspective

Pastors who understand the calling without being embedded in your immediate ministry environment.

Access to uncommon expertise

Trusted voices bringing useful wisdom for money, marriage, health, rest, family, leadership, and more.

A protected culture

Application, small groups, consistent membership, covenant, confidentiality, and facilitation.

A place where you get to receive

You spend most of your ministry pouring out. This is a recurring place built to pour something back in.

Three intentional opportunities every month to invest in the one person your ministry depends on every day: you.

Now, The Investment

One seat. One simple membership.

No tiers. No long-term contract. No hidden price after you fill out an application.

Founding Membership
$49USD / month

Month to month. International members should account for exchange rates charged by their card issuer.

Every month your seat includes

  • Two confidential Table gatherings with men in pastoral ministry.
  • One live Resource Room session with a carefully selected expert.
  • Ongoing brotherhood, prayer, and encouragement between sessions.
  • A protected, application-based community built for trust and forward movement.
Applying does not obligate you to join. It begins the process of determining whether the Table is the right fit for you—and whether you are the right fit for the Table.Request a Seat at the Table

The Table only has so many chairs. Each Table is intentionally limited to approximately 14–16 men because intimacy, participation, and trust disappear when the room gets too large. When a Table reaches capacity, new applicants may be held for the next opening or next Table.

Questions, Answered

What you should know before you apply.

Is The Pastor's Table online or in person?

Regular Table gatherings and Resource Room sessions are live online via Zoom, allowing pastors to build relationships outside their immediate local ministry environment.

What is the monthly time commitment?

There are three live online sessions each month: two Table gatherings and one Resource Room session. Table gatherings are approximately 75 minutes each and the Resource Room is approximately 60 minutes—about 3½ hours of live connection across the month. Your recurring Table schedule is made clear before you accept a seat and activate membership.

Who will actually be at my Table?

The Pastor's Table is exclusively for men serving in pastoral ministry. Applications collect ministry role and context so Tables can be curated intentionally rather than randomly. Tables are designed for approximately 14–16 men, with enough shared leadership context to create relevance while still bringing fresh perspective into the room.

I already meet with pastors. Why would I need this?

Good—keep those relationships. The Pastor's Table is not designed to replace healthy friendships, mentors, or local pastor groups. It adds perspective from outside your immediate ministry ecosystem, a consistent protected Table culture, and the Resource Room's access to voices your existing circle may not naturally bring into your life.

Is this just a place for pastors to vent?

No. There is room for honesty and real burdens, but conversations are facilitated around a simple rhythm: Celebrate, Carry, Sharpen, Pray. The purpose is not to admire problems. It is to be known in what is hard, receive perspective and prayer, and move forward stronger.

How is confidentiality protected?

Trust cannot be guaranteed by a sentence on a website, so it is built into the structure: application-based membership, intentionally small Tables, consistent faces, active facilitation, and a Table Covenant requiring members to protect what is shared. Trust still develops over time, but the conditions for it are intentionally protected.

What is the Resource Room?

One live monthly conversation with a carefully selected guest who can help pastors thrive in ministry and in life. Topics may include finances, additional income, business, investing, marriage, family, health, soul care, rest, travel, leadership, future planning, and ministry strategy.

What if I miss a session?

Ministry and family life can be unpredictable. Members are expected to value and prioritize the Table, but an occasional absence will not cost you your seat. Consistency matters because trust is relational, not transactional.

What is the investment?

Founding membership is $49 USD per month, month to month. International members should be aware that exchange rates or card-issuer fees may change the amount paid in local currency. The price is shown here before application so there are no surprises.

Why an application?

Because the people determine the culture. The application helps protect trust, assess fit, understand ministry context, and build Tables where members are prepared to participate, encourage one another, maintain confidentiality, and contribute rather than simply consume.

A Seat at the Table

Do not wait until empty to decide that your health matters too.

Membership is intentionally limited

Pull up a chair. Gain perspective. Enter the Resource Room. Build relationships with men who understand the calling—and make room on your calendar for something that exists for you.
